Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted November 18, 2009 your comments. Marianne, you got it right! At first the subtitle of this work was "homage to Josef Koudelka", but I deleted it. Imho the less I write the better it is for the viewers [:-)]. Anyway the works of Josef Koudelka are among my favorite ones. His skill with b/w is matched by his sharp eye and empathy with his subjects. His wanderings through different times and lands have produced a deep, profound, thoughtful diary. From theater to exiles and bare landscapes he has shown us through the stage we call life. Thanks for your comments, Giuseppe Link to comment

hossein 0 Posted November 19, 2009 composition and silhouette of the dog is perfect. I just think it could be better if there was more contrast and sharpness on top of balustrade. it seems the upper part of photo is fading away. (it's just my personal idea and you may have done that by purpose) Link to comment

giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted November 23, 2009 thanks so much for your appreciation. This one was shot at the main gate of the Royal Palace in Caserta, Italy. Do you know that the Royal Palace has been used as location for famous movies like Angels and Demons and Star Wars Episode I and II? Thanks so much, ciao, Giuseppe Link to comment
