the more i look at it the more i like it. its photography without the BS (and that sometimes appeals to me)

It's sooo nice. Would it be better if you'll make a small crop? The grass from the down right pulls all the composition down, like it leans slightly to the right...

I love it anyway! Great Job!

Beautiful shot. There's something dazzling about it. There's a cool integration between your main subject and the guy sitting, almost as if they're about to meet. The trees aligned and so bright as they are give the photo a dynamic kind of rhythm which is very appealing. I like the layers and the storytelling.

Thank you all very much for your kind words. I am pretty pleased with this picture, especially as it has come during a real 'dry' spell for me and photography. Until this particular day of shooting, I had only taken one picture that was usable. The rest were just rubbish.

I feel do need to responded to Maria's comment about the grass pulling the composition down a little. There is a reason for that - he's walking down a slope!

Interesting composition where the dark uprigt trees are like a "screen" dividing the FG accentuated scene vs. the blurred walker in the FG. The separation is total but still the firures of the 3 human are creating a triangle. Compositionwise interesting timing. Good B/W as well.
