charo 3 Posted October 4, 2014 A special image, for what it represents. What I like most here is the floor, its shape and colors. Interesting how you've assembled all the elements. Excellent work!!!Kind Regards,Rosario. Link to comment

John Peri 1,032 Posted October 4, 2014 Another classic image in your style, beautifully executed as usual Pierre. The colours work well as do the different elements together. The ball intrigues me though and I don't see it's significance. I have been reading about black holes recently, they eventually absorb all around them, so maybe the traveller will plunge in there also, whereas the pigeon wisely keeps it's distance. It could be the process of renewal, rebirth, since some cosmologists claim that new universes may emerge from these holes. Link to comment
Maurizio, affascinato...!!! Link to comment
AJBart 9 Posted October 5, 2014 Pierre, I especially like this. Being an engineer and mathematician it intrigues me. AJ Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted October 5, 2014 Thank you John, This picture speaks of alienation of us, people from God and turning to objects, geometrically simple and with regular forms, objects which replace the natural objects and forms! The environment presented here I call "well paved forest" which is allusion to the distraction of the nature in the name of the technology!Your view is interesting and can agree with mine, the technology is a black hole which might slurp us all together with the nature! CiaomauPietro il preoccupato Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted October 5, 2014 AJ, Being an engineer you might be one of those who made the well paved forest here presented, ha! Thank you for your input! PDE Link to comment
maria 7 Posted October 5, 2014 funny the composition of the head and the ball ;) and also the spheres in the pavement - it reminds me of the motive at villa Medici Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted October 5, 2014 Villa Medici!? I'm watching about that family on History channel! PDE Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 274 Posted October 6, 2014 The pigeon has turned his back on it, therefore doesn't fit his needs, Jörg! Thank you for your funny remark! PDE Link to comment

timothymuffitt 1 Posted October 7, 2014 A remarkable image Pierre! The framing and content draw our view so strongly to the ball, all is leading to that, except the bird who seems to have the ability to escape. It seems like he should fly...far, far away. Tim Link to comment
