must say. your pp is completely wrong. colors, light, dark is too dark... still, moment you wanted to present is your work and I appreciate your effort. Cheers, VS

Hmmmm.I am not sure i know what the pp is.Nevertheless, the picture (a 50 ASA Velva slide) shows excactly what was happening the certain moment (during sunset) in the aeria, when a cloud of sand from Africa was passing by.Does this make things more clear?Anyway thank you both for your very wellcomed critique.

Yes, the crop/comp by K - Lys is much better (not so close to the edge). I wish the two figures were more easily identifiable (without the title, I would have difficulty identifying the dark object). Still, it's a good concept and certainly heading in the right direction.

K-Lys,thank you for the interest on making things better.I like your crop that makes the couple be the leader in the shot.It was not what i had in mind when i took the shot. The phenomenon of the sandy cloud that made sky and sea orange was the leader in my view, along with the couple. Thus,i would say my title on the picture is wrong. It should be Love in a sandy scene. But i stil like your crop as an alterative view and thank you very much for your proposal.

Dear Stephen, yes the S-Lyn crop is more proper in our everyday aesthetique.Mine was a litle bit more aeretic. You are right, the figures are rather dark.As you can probably see from my portfolio i hardly use any ps,especially masks, in my photos, letting shots be excactly the way they were in my slides or dig.at the closiest point of reallity at the moment i shot them.If i made the figures less dark that would cause the real light of sea and sky.So i let the whole thing be as it was in the lens eye.It could be better or perfect,i addmit. In life you lose something geting something else. And you make friends discusing the average.I hope you'll be one, with all my thanks.

George, I like the silhouette, and I wouldn't suggest making the figures lighter so that a viewer could see detail. I was just wishing the figures were positioned differently so that they could be more easily identified as people -- perhaps facing each other very closely in profile (something like that). Nevertheless, I do like the concept and the context in which they are placed.
