Couldn't pass this opportunity by. It is rear to find Bow Lake this calm. I wish i had more time to shoot more but a long hike was still ahead.

One of those lucky days. I wasn't even planning to stop at Bow Lake

to shoot. I can still smell that crisp and cool morning air when I

look at this photo.

Hope you enjoy it as well!

This photo really caught my eye - excellent and very dramatic lighting. I think your use of a polarizer really helped form the drama, with the darkness of the blue sky in the upper right. Very good work.

what kind of film scanner you use? Your results for this picture, as well as your others, are just phenomenal. Thanks.

The scanner I am using is a Nikon Super Coolscan 4000ED. I have had it now for about 2 months and I am very happy with the resulting scans. With it's 4000 dpi it produces an approximate print of 13" x 18.5" at 300 dpi print resolution from a 35mm format picture.

That is probably the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

I have the Nikon LS-1000, which I have not used yet. Looking forward to it, but I'm sure your 4000 will soon be on my Wish list. :}

This is one of those shots that leaves me wordless (hah!, you, wordless?...my partner says). Regardless well done!

I have pointed out this image as a perfect illustration of the function of a polarizer. The polarizer starts to function at almost the exact center of theis image and the difference is arresting.

It's a lovely and well-caught image. You were very lucky to find it so. Good work!

I like this image the most from the ones in your portfolio. The light, color and tone is soft and very pleasant. The composition is straight forward and to the point. The only thing I would change is what appears to be a airplane trail in the sky to the left of the mountains. I would remove it in Photoshop. Some would think that's improper. I guess we all have to make decisions about this on our own.

This is simply breathtaking. The tremenous depth and range really make it seem quite unreal. You have an amazing eye. Thank you for sharing this!
