camilo.margeli 1 Posted January 2, 2007 The image is really amazing. I like over other things the light on the first plane and also de composition using these rocks on the horizon. Thanks for share. Link to comment
ricklundh 0 Posted January 3, 2007 This is my last image take in 2006, and my first post in 2007. I was thrilled to have been here at this very spot in the 15 minute window which the gray gave way to some honey colored light. Comments Appreciated! Link to comment
copeg 0 Posted January 4, 2007 WOW. Rick, just a stunning shot. Your composition here is just fantastic, and the colors and shadows....fantastic! Link to comment
yexie 0 Posted January 4, 2007 Rick, this is most beautiful. I especially like the reflect of the clouds and how they complement the rocks. Great work indeed! Link to comment

lalit 0 Posted January 4, 2007 Nice backlit image. The yellows in the sky and blue reflection on the water compensating each other with the contrast they have produced in this image. the reflection of the clouds creates very good foreground pattern, the ripples on the water creates delicate patterns as well. J. Perez 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Greate shot, Rick! I really like the detailed ripples in the foreground, something you don't typically see in this kind of landscape photo (usually more dramtic waves or blurred from long exposure). how long of a exposure was this, anyway? Nice last shot for the year. Cheers, J Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted January 13, 2007 Saw this on NPN & thought you'd score a mod's pick. Probably the most beautiful seascape I have seen. I should think Amy would be pretty pleased with this. Sublime. Link to comment
davidclapp 0 Posted March 20, 2007 This is excellent Rick, I really love the fact that slower shutter speeds would have ruined the water texture rather than improve it (which is usually what I find). The iconic rocks are just the perfect place for the eye to rest. Jealous as..! Link to comment
davidclapp 0 Posted July 8, 2007 And again! Simply one of you most outstanding images Rick. Deserves a double comment from me! Link to comment

stp 6 Posted June 1, 2010 Incredibly beautiful scene, Rick. The colors are great, and the small ripples in the foreground that reflect the sky are the icing on the cake. Link to comment
