john_chandler 0 Posted January 24, 2003 Looking for some feedback. Just moved back to US after living abroad for seven years and this forum could be rewarding. Link to comment
mcrodgers2 0 Posted January 24, 2003 Well done! Excellent colors, especially the red coral. The diver on the right adds scale and perspective. I know how often divers get in strange arm & leg positions that goof up the shot. You caught this diver in a natural looking position. It's too bad the lion fish didn't give you a profile shot. I appreciate the upward angle of this shot and the good exposure on the blue ocean back ground. Nice job. Link to comment
john_chandler 0 Posted February 9, 2003 While I am complimented that you think I can use Photoshop I have to submit to you that this is the result of nature, good flash units and Fujichrome. The corners and initials were imbedded with a simple old photo editor. Thanks again for your comment. /// JwC Link to comment
jeffrey 0 Posted February 20, 2003 Ther is motion blur n the photo which adds to the picture showing life. The diver on the right is a little concerning, being an instructor myself, and a U/W photographer the diver just does not look right. Please realize I think it is a good photo, but just hard to take in. I can not beleive that all the factors came together for you at this one point in time. No wash out of colours, rules of thirds, depth of feild, the diver exhaling. Steven Frink should be looking over his shoulder...... Link to comment
