Hi Peter, great photo here! I like the almost monochrome aesthetic and very balanced composition.

But the most I like of all, is the extrange power of the photo, the waves almost look like ancient monsters from the sea, they look like water wales, they look like... they look... really mysterious.

thank you for the fantastic encouragement, maybe there is a Zen type thing happening, at least for the photographer, to capture that moment, one waits for the sun, waits for the wave and if all goes well something that wakens the beauty within the eye, click :)

There is so much raw power there - great moment!

I love shots that you can feel, and that beautifully lighted spray blowing back makes me want to raise my collar. Beyond that it's a wonderful capture of dynamic light versus static, brooding darkness. Outstanding work.

I wonder if the northern winter is a good time to post these water scenes! I understand , from looking at photos posted, that one could indeed feel a bit cool looking at these. We are , however , walking about in shorts and t shirts, enjoying 25degrees of warmth, centigrade. cheers and thanks you for the ratings and comments.
