StevenVeit-Studio1476 1 Posted October 26, 2009 The entire cave temple -- stupa, columns, ribbing imitating roof timbers -- was cut into the solid rock of the mountainside, an almost unimaginable challenge that must have faced the 5th Century builders of these remarkable spaces. The photographic challenge was merely to try and capture this interior scene handheld in available light, as tripods and flash were not permitted. Link to comment
