riverdance

This is a shot from late september. We spotted these beautifully coloured aspen

leaves floating and dancing down a little river in eastern Norway. We had to run further down the riverside to catch them up and get some shots before they

disappeared in a waterfall....a golden fragile moment !

Until I read your comment I thought that perhaps you had placed these leaves together for the photo. This is a lovely image, the water at the edge of the leaves and the droplets on top suggest that they may go under at any time - all part of the bitter-sweet nature of the season.

There is a sence of calm in this image, because of the dark color of the water. I really like the colors of the leaves and the water drops. Lovely work.

Anne, Runar, this is great! The droplets seem to shine. The warm colors of the leafs offer a great contrast to the blueish water.

What I find particularly interesting is the contrast between perfectly sharp leafs and the more soft appearance of the wahter, it brings the leafs out even better.

Simplistic and natural. This is a beautiful and colorful image. Well seen by you. I was inspired to shoot single leaves yesterday after seeing this one, mine were not so good ;( It is always fun to see what you will post next!
