ron831 0 Posted October 3, 2009 I've been visiting Photo.net for sometime now and just today joined and uploaded a few photos. I would appreciate some opinions.. Link to comment
philip_coggan 0 Posted October 3, 2009 Nice and sharp, and well isolated subject against a blurred background. The blurring in the foreground - near side of the piece of wood - looks odd. It doesn't really matter why this happened, but it's a good idea not to have anything in the pic which causes the audience to say "that looks odd." Good luck :) Link to comment
ron831 0 Posted October 3, 2009 Thank You Philip.. And you are correct. I had not noticed the blur that you mentioned. I'll have to figure out why that happened and try again. That squirrel is becoming an old friend at the park I visit. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted October 3, 2009 The eyes are in focus....that's good. If you have the space, I would prefer to see the squirrel a little off-center to the right, which would give more head room on the left (the direction the squirrel is looking). But overall it's a great start. I really like your Lunch Time 1 image. I'd suggest putting that one up for critique. I do think you can crop a little off the right of that one to eliminate that vertical thing...whatever it is. But it's a great clear shot that I think you should be proud of. Keep up the great work! ron831 0 Posted October 3, 2009 Christal, Exactly why I joined this site, to get opinions like what you wrote.. That must have been a little limb on the right side of Lunch Time 1. I do agree with you that I hould have cropped it out and I will.. I really appreciate your advise. Link to comment
