kai_compagner 0 Posted January 17, 2003 Very nice. The shape of the plant and the rock are very chinese somehow. Link to comment
lawanda_taish 0 Posted January 17, 2003 I like this photo. It makes me want to climb a mountain to search for the silence you've captured in this photo. Link to comment
brendan_mcmahan 0 Posted January 26, 2003 This is great, it really captures the feeling of being up very high. A well executed shot of a well chosen subject. Link to comment

dominiquedodge 0 Posted January 26, 2003 Both subtle and dramatic at the same time. There's a lot to think about here - landscape for contemplation. very nice. Link to comment
nardaf 0 Posted January 31, 2003 If it were large format, it'd almost be an Ansel Adams. Great dramatic shot. Link to comment
julius_bergh1 0 Posted February 2, 2003 Very dramatic light complements the dramatic height of the cliffs. Link to comment

ray watson 0 Posted February 8, 2003 Wow! Nice shot. Must have been a job to get into position to take this one. Link to comment
greg_barnett 0 Posted February 10, 2003 Stunning! I love the subtle layers of mountains. Link to comment
ben neptun 0 Posted February 13, 2003 This is suberb! I think you're missing a lot here by chosing black and white versus color, but I still dig it. There's a minute distraction bottom left--a black rock jutting up into the picture, but I could get over that easily with selective matting. Well done! Link to comment
wayne_young1 0 Posted February 13, 2003 As has been said before - very "Adams-esque", I love it!! Great shot. How did you get to where you took this picture from ? Are you a climber ? Link to comment
dominique_blanchard1 0 Posted February 14, 2003 THIS IS SIMPLY GORGEOUS , BUT I MEAN REALY GORGEOUS Link to comment
david_young4 0 Posted February 17, 2003 I am glad that many of you enjoy this image. To capture this image, I had to stay in an "ill equipped" lodge on the high mountain. During one evening, when the outside temperature dropped to 10 degrees below zero, the room literally became an icebox. Never in my life, I had to wear three pairs of pants, three long sleeve shirts plus a coat, and covered myself with two blankets plus a ski mask (if you can imagines that) going to bed! Needless to say, I did not get any sleep that evening. Now that I am back in the comfort of my heated office, I get to see that my efforts are being appreciated. Thank you all for your nice compliments. I shall return to that mountain in the future as she awaits to be photographed. Link to comment
michael_green 0 Posted February 20, 2003 Beautiful! I'd say to round it off, clean up the bottom left corner, and boost the detail in the cliff. So much feeling! Link to comment
