susanlloyd 0 Posted September 21, 2009 Hi all! I've enjoyed what I've seen thus far on photo.net. I would love to hear your feedback on this bridal portrait! I'm not sure I uploaded the highest res possible, so bear that in mind. Link to comment
greg_kowalczewski 0 Posted September 22, 2009 I love the vertical orientation and arrangement of this scene. The cloud formation in association with the clear sky is eye-catching. I also think this shot would look great in a 5 x 4 format to make the bride more prominent. The fact that you have taken such a great shot offers you these possibilities. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted September 23, 2009 Susan, Welcome Susan. Beautiful bride and beautiful photograph. I also like Greg's horizontal format (I sure do like those clouds, though). I would not have cropped it so tightly on the bottom or the top. I think both her head and her train need more breathing room. The lighting, contrast and color saturation is excellent. I really like the leading lines to the bride. I know you positioned her there so that you could show off her beautiful train spread out behind her, but compositionally I really want her to be looking into the photograph, not out of it. I would have turned her just slightly and had her look back into the photograph. I hope to see more of your portraits in this category. Nice shot, Mark Link to comment
