What is Madadayo?....;-)) in any event it is a nice two? photographers and a passer by. Is he photographing you ? you photographing some body? A nice pazzle....

I like the self photograph but I too am intrigued about the title. Did you photograph this image on your birthday?

 

Pnina, the word Madadayo is that of a Japanese movie and the English translation of it is "Not Yet". I can think of a few reasons Jack chose this title but they each could be wrong.

I can't seem to keep my mug out of my own pictures. I keep thinking it's a picture of my father. Shawn, you're right about the title, the same as the last movie by my favorite director, Akira Kurosawa. I use it in the same sense he did (though I certainly would never compare my vision to his) i.e. "it's not over yet". Kind of in the sense of the Eveready Energizer Bunny.

that expands your statement about life and speaks to everyone. this perfectly timed photo has that special attractive that only some metaphysical poems have. Kudos, Giuseppe
