brendan_bullock 0 Posted January 13, 2003 quite an elegant shot! the only thing that detracts is the lighting - the light behind her is nice but i feel ther'es not enough on her face and body. a wonderful shot, nonetheless. Link to comment
kristian_s_oslash_rensen 0 Posted January 13, 2003 Queen Cleopatra of Egypt personified!A cliche, but a well executed one - congratulations! Link to comment
i.p. 0 Posted January 14, 2003 I appreciate the setting and the lighting and the effort it took. However, the first thing that caught my eye was the electrical outlet by her feet. I would have used PS on that!!! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 20, 2003 Nicely done. 5/6 (A/O) on my scale. Small touches to make it perfect: * Plant and statue tops are cut, try to include them in your exposure (or get them back in if you cropped them out). * Hanging painting is irrelevant, remove. * Fruit bowl is a great touch, show more of it. * As noted, power cords are a distraction, remove. * Get closer to the bed, or lose the hanging threads on the left. Just my .02 :) Link to comment
tom_thurston 0 Posted January 22, 2003 It would be much better with a cleaner background. As it is, the picture, the bowl of fruit (?) and the other thing sticking up detract from the image. Also. the things hanging down in the lower left are confusing. Link to comment
john_kanon 0 Posted January 24, 2003 Great shot! Too bad of the power cables that are visible next to the plant. Link to comment
sk68 0 Posted February 13, 2004 This is one of the shots used in the ad for the Spa. Ive converted from color to B&W in Photoshop to see if it will work batter. Actually the color photo was selected. I just like this one. We spent a lot of time to prep girl and place. You can notice an outlet in the corner, but it was removed for the actual commercial. Link to comment
farmer on the hill 0 Posted February 13, 2004 Nice shot except for the electrical socket ant the framed painting cut in the middle; I think the painting should go. Link to comment
tony_p4 1 Posted February 13, 2004 Hi Slava, I agree lose the power cables and the painting at the back. Possibly shoot from a slightly lower angle to keep the base of this picture and include the head of the statue. That for me would have made it a 7/7 as everything else is spot on, as it is 6/6 ;) Link to comment
