mauroni 0 Posted September 8, 2009 where did you take this picture? where is simba station? how can be sure that you are the photographer, since the picture is quite perfect? Is the sign a post production addition? Are you learning something at least! Wow! Mauro PS: Hey guys, Elena and I are friends in the real world, so give to my words the right menaing. :-) Link to comment
vanzuk 0 Posted September 9, 2009 Inside the the San Diego Wild animal park there is a "bus" station. The strange effect is due to the sprayed water they use during the summer to cool the people. the post production was: convert in black and white adjust sharpness, balance lighting and crop. Do you want to see the original (ME)? (what about my english ????). ciao breakballer! Link to comment
mauroni 0 Posted September 9, 2009 I'm Italian so I'm not entitled to judge your awful english (oops). Terry Gilroy is. Ask him. He is a gentleman and probably will give the answer you'd like. When you say breakballer I suppose you mean ball-breaker an interesting translation of "rompipalle". The inversion of the term renders very well your aptitude to confuse the cause and the effect. But we love you for what you are and for what you could be. hehehe. Mauro Link to comment
terrygilroy 0 Posted September 10, 2009 There are several definitions of "gentleman" I wouldn't dream of taking sides in this spat - you would both turn on me! You seem to be very tempermental - perhaps it is your Italian blood. Up here in the cold wet North we are very kind placid creatures. I confess that I do not find the photo exciting or appealing but that is made up for by your comments. Carry on squablbling my friends, Luv Terry Link to comment
mauroni 0 Posted September 11, 2009 Terry, I suppose you know that I'm joking as well as Elena is. I'm more placid than you would think. Ok, yes, not placid like you guys from the North. hahaha. Joke aside, you know that we Italians speak a bad english and so I do. But Elena... oh... Elena ... ok, don't push me to go further! Warm respectful regards Mauro PS: what are the several meanings of 'gentleman'? I use it as a courtesy form to refer to a male person and I'd not that this was inappropriate. Link to comment
terrygilroy 0 Posted September 11, 2009 Humour my friend is the essence of life. Without it we would be mad. Your (and Elena's) comments are always taken as a gesture of friendship and your English is a lot better than my Italian - although they did try to teach me Latin at school but I don't want to say how long ago that was. I will send you 2 definitions of gentleman by email, best wishes. Link to comment
