mauroni 0 Posted September 3, 2009 This is my first try with the photo-merging feature in PS CS4. The subject is the "Su Giudeu" (The Jew) pond. Only a quite invisible white sand strip separates the pond from the sea and it's part of a spectacular natural environment. The picture has been taken at 5:50 AM. Thank-you for c&c and ratings Mauro Link to comment

mauroni 0 Posted September 3, 2009 Thank-you very much for your visit and your warm words and rating. May I ask you to use my first name (Mauro) next time? Moroni is my last name and in Italy is quite "bureaucratic" the use of the last name. BTW is Kaushik your first name? :-) Mauro Link to comment
mauroni 0 Posted September 3, 2009 amico mio! è veramente molto che non ci sentiamo. Vengo presto a farti visita e spero in cuor mio di non trovare solo foto "oniriche" :-) Grazie per il tuo apprezzamento. Conta molto per me Mauro Link to comment

aarkp 2 Posted September 4, 2009 Lovely place. You capture its beauty. Horrible framing. If it has to be black, perhaps... Link to comment
mauroni 0 Posted September 4, 2009 David, my friend, thank-you again for your support. This is really a wonderful place, one of the very few environment in Sardinia not yet devastated by uncontrolled urbanization. 30-40 km of wild quite untouched coasts. A true paradise. The width has been a wonderful surprise to me obtained with PS. I never imagined that it could be able to merge so perfectly two pictures taken without the tripod and with a slight relative perspective error. Technoly can be wonderful when you learn to control it! Best regards Mauro Link to comment
mauroni 0 Posted September 4, 2009 Rajat, dearest fellow, I'm pleased you like this place but I don't share your opinion on the framing. It's neutral, while your proposal is very heavy and change definitely the ratio of the image that I want to be elongated. My framing wants (and can accept that fail in this goal) recall the film border you were used to have with the panoramic cameras available in the '80s. Thank-you for commenting anr rating.
