Haven't been able to get near my computer the last few days....been away, as just heard about the earthquake as I was leaving....so of course I've been worried...but from what you have posted.........I can see you are fine.....

 

This is fantastic MJ......a very 'cool' image....very much like some of the 'ads' I've been seeing in commercials and in magazines...quite a few Photoshop artists I've seen do images similar....you're really 'opened up a whole new world of imaging' for yourself! Thanks Gail, vector art is fun but time consuming really time consuming... Also my gf lent her eyes to allow me to adjust them into the shot... I need to re-evaluate again what way I want to approach my art, I get a lot of positive feed back on the graphic design works but really want to move back to traditional black and white work .... I am indeed struggling with a path to go... Wish I was more like you in that you have always looked for the bright and happy aspects of photo design really nice to find a nitch... Like my buddy Warren and Lawrence and Jim.... They have found thier mark! I am seaching hence the search for buddah.... My seach for the right image and method of presentation... I did these images before my mum passed away on April 19, her comment was too commerical Michael! hahaha you know she is right and you confirmed it.... LOL MJ

I don't know that I would consider this commercial. I like the flow, I like the eye placement and that you let some of the embellisments to show through it. The colors are nice (orange with green) and I love the hint of her hair in the graphics. The colors are concentrated more on one side. One thought I had was to give the small apostraphe in the upper right some color to balance. I love your work. I love that you are struggling to find your way. Many of us are.

Now that I look again, I believe that a little color, dribbled (so to speak) into the drop on a leash iinto the black, would balance this as well.
