timberwulf 0 Posted August 29, 2009 I'm a little torn on this image. I love the colors in the sky, and also really like the texture and interest that the pebbles on the beach in the foreground add. At the same time, the extra space that both of these elements add seems to swallow up the excellent shapes and architecture on the pier. There is something here, I'm just struggling to figure out what, in my opinion, would really put this image over the top. Link to comment
yaroslav staniec 0 Posted August 30, 2009 Thanks Garry for your comment. I agree with you, there is an empty space in bottom right corner,I guess it could be a good idea to place there a little bit more waves. ;) Sorry for grammar. :) Link to comment
deans 0 Posted August 30, 2009 I like the waves leading into the photo. The sky has great color and the detail of the building on the pier is awesome. I would crop the sky to get rid of the negative space in the upper left hand corner. The pier looks like it going to fall over. You can straighten it in photoshop or shoot it again making sure you are not pointing your camera up or down. I have to remind myself of that all the time. Great job! Link to comment
