Angelo,  I appreciate having some of my older images revisited.  Thanks for looking over my photos.  Yosemite, like other national parks, has unlimited photo opportunities to test how we see with a camera.  I think it's all about our vision and light.  I keep working to improve my photo vision. P.O.V.,the rich saturated colours make for a pleasant visual experience.Expect the approaching rain clouds contribute to the rich colours.I posted an image with a small bush that is located in the same spot as in your image.Great minds think alike,I guess.
