Sleeping Dog

I am new to DSLR, new to my Camera, Canon 40D and having trouble getting crisp

images. I think this is relatively clear but I am unhappy with my landscape attempts

I like the picture a lot... Seems very clear to me, sharpness is good, and color scheme makes me want to take a nap as well... I'm new to my Camera as well as Photography in general... Great work!
