At the end of the day you drop an anchor in an empty quiet cove. You

open a bottle of red wine and play a little Mozart in the background. You

put some cushions up against the cockpit bulkhead, lean back, put

your feet up and you look at mother nature showing off. The troubles of

the world are far, far away and for 20 minutes you get to experience the

world at its best! It doesn't get any better!!

Warren, your description sounds like heaven. I don't usually get to just relax when I go out with my husband because with him it's all about fishing. With my son, it's all about speed! This scene is so serene. It looks like mother nature is putting on a light show. The clouds are amazing. The fishermen on the east coast (of Canada) would call that a Mackerel sky. There's a saying there "Mackerel sky at night, sailors delight, Mackerel sky in the morning, sailors take warning." I really enjoyed looking at this. Warm regards, Linda

In my email to you I mentioned the 'escape and freedom' of being on a sailboat. I think your comments above portray exactly what the appeal is......I can almost get a sense of being there. Nice photo, and nice description as well!
