rita_borg 0 Posted January 17, 2003 THE BEST PICTURE I'VE SEEN SO FAR! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SHOT! Link to comment
rajiv1 0 Posted January 17, 2003 Very intense. The depth IMO is too shallow. I'd wish for his eyes and beard to be sharper. The head gear is ok. Better to be fuzzy. Lovely subject. Could have been better though Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 17, 2003 Wow. Very good depth of field, which i think really helps to add to the sharpness and detail in his face. you should be very proud of this Link to comment

mcrodgers2 0 Posted January 21, 2003 Intense! Excellant sharpness. I like the way the facial features are brought to your attention by the dark exposure of everything else. Link to comment
uber photography 0 Posted January 24, 2003 Great shot, good technique and well cropped image Link to comment
rsb 0 Posted January 25, 2003 The problem is not the shallow DOF, but the way it is used. I think it would have been more powerful if the nearest object to the photographer (his coat) was slightly out of focus followed by in-focus eyes and the background out of focus again. (Note: I understand selective focus would have been difficult on what looks to be a street shot and I do like the photo.) Link to comment
hayward 0 Posted January 26, 2003 Very good, as are all the shots I've seen of Pops. It would be nice if the left eye was sharper, but it's oksy that it's not. Link to comment
duane_brierley 0 Posted January 29, 2003 I wish both eyes were in focus but stunning none the less! Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted January 29, 2003 Wonderful use of tonality and texture in a portrait Link to comment
kang_liat_keng1 0 Posted February 4, 2003 like the black mood of the picture, excellent work there! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 4, 2003 Is this a new version or a reload Jay? I think the original was better. A little more dof would get that right eye in focus. but quite good as it is. Link to comment
wendy_woods 0 Posted February 5, 2003 Gorgeous skin tones. Love the blacks. A great example of when to meter, vs. use the camera's automatic exposure. Link to comment
wadim_kahlkopf___www.kahlk 0 Posted February 6, 2003 Exellent in color, aesthetics and just other disziplines. Link to comment
