Subject is dead slam in the middle of the image. By placing the subject on one of the lower thirds, preferably the lower left third, you could have made the image more interesting. Depth of field is also too deep, the background is somewhat sharp and distracting. Blurring it considerably in Photoshop would have also helped draw attention the the subject
