Should this be cropped to remove the light pole and some of the gravel

road?

I would not crop this.

However, shooting from a lower position might have been better in excluding part of the road.

Still, a quite nice image...

I think the tree on the left and the light pole on the left provides a frame almost. I like it the way it is.

I'd do something to remove/reduce the gravel, and the suggestion to shoot at a lower angle is a good one. I doubt that it's possible to remove the light pole from this location, and I wouldn't want to lose the tree on the left (in fact, I think I'd like to see more of it). I'd simply live with the pole, and you have a very nice scene.
