jose2 0 Posted August 5, 2009 To see a jaguar in nature is very difficult, even if you are in one of the best places to do it, the Manu National Park in Peru. I was a very lucky person because I was able to see a couple resting together into the riverside, taking a pleasant sunbath after few days of really bad weather into the Amazon jungle. I shoot this one after one of the jaguars went away, but is my favorite. I hope you like it! Link to comment
cphilpott 0 Posted August 6, 2009 Well done, what a special experience, so often such images come from captive animals, your story really ads to the image value. Take care. Link to comment
matman1975 0 Posted August 6, 2009 Yes you definitely are a very lucky guy! These are extremely elusive creatures which makes every single wild shot of them precious! You already know that you needed a bigger lens that day to achieve a frame filling result but your photo is anyway nice in terms of color and lighting. Composition though could have been a little bit better...the jaguar is too centered and I think that the rule of thirds could prove useful in your case. Regards, Teo Link to comment
