Excellent shot. Nice capture. I wish to trim a little at the right to make it off-centre and increase the speed. Never-the-less, great work.

Hi there!

Thank you for the constructive comment. I really appreciate it.

I tried several crops, including chopping more off the right, but this was the one that in the end I was most happy with.

All the best,

Rob

Thanks for comments all!

I do wish that I had been able to get both feet in, but this was the only shot I was able to get off before she disappeared into the middle of the fountain.

Cheers

Hello John,

Well, if this was an ideal word then I would have managed to get both feet in entirely, but as I said above I only had time for this one shot and this is what I got.

I did crop to the left, right and above so I will have a look at a few other crops, but this was the one that was initially most happy with.

Thanks for the feedback,

Rob

What I feel here are various levels of energy. From the contrast of positive to negative, the different kinds of energy in her movement and that of the water, the strong main image against the more effervescent surroundings. There's a kind of abstraction that takes place here, so she becomes more than just a girl running through a fountain.

Thanks for bringing me to your folders. I " traveled" a bit in them, and you have a very nice rich collection of many interesting corners of the world.. Most of them well composed.

My eye was attracted to this one. I don't know where you were standing, but two steps backwards would have given( imo) the whole a bit more needed space , as well as a bit cropping from the R side would have moved her from the very center..The feeling of movement vs. the freezing water is very well captured and in general it is a photo that attracts special attention.

Thank you all very much for your feedback.

What I am pleased about is that this picture seems to convey meaning, and generate thought. It is a picture that needs to be 'read', and that is something that I am trying really hard to achieve with my photos now. It may not be technically perfect, but I can cope with that.

All the best,

Rob
