Shoe Repairman, YiMa, China

This is a street scene from the main drag of YiMa on a market day. The man on the left is a shoe repairman who is quite good actually...he fixed my "nice" shoes (sewed the sole back on them) for one yuan. He can't speak very much so while it seems everyone else laughed at or wrote him off, I enjoyed talking with him as a break from Chinese...we both talked with our hands.
