Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 27, 2009 Crisp and delightful. This should be seen 4'x6' and hung on some museum wall. Link to comment
mcclure 0 Posted July 27, 2009 I can hear my ears ringing from the calm. I really like the proportions you mirrored foreground to sky forcing the eye to wander the horizon line! Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted July 28, 2009 I'm amazed at what you do. This image could have been turned into something terminally boring by most of us mortals, but you've created this great visual texture sandwich that just makes one want to eat it up. I'm thinking a Syrah would be good with it. Link to comment
janc 0 Posted July 30, 2009 Hola Gordon. What a delicious shot! It seems to be just a landscape but it has a lot of wonderful details that make me forget that now at UTC 19:23 we have +38 C. Thanks for this nice and refreshing shot. Abrazos. Link to comment
mcclure 0 Posted July 30, 2009 I completely agree with David but the one thing I noticed as I keep coming back to this image is the near painterly treatment to the horizon line. Near yet forcing us to take it somewhere else. Pretty damn amazing!!! Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted August 2, 2009 I like how the cleft in the snow serves as a directional, leading the eye through the scene and out onto the still surface of the water. The pale blue/beige works well. Any other color would have been an intrusion. Link to comment
shots worth sharing 1 Posted July 13, 2010 This s worthy of extended contemplation and not only for the serenity--though there is that. Beautifully conceived and executed! Link to comment
