Bus Stop

Perfect, Laurent, I like this a lot. It's a terrifically balanced picture, not reliant on the subject matter for interest but on the eye of the artist. A simple arrangement of color and forms that produces the most pleasant sensation in the viewer.

Jack, thanks. Glad you like this one. Those two women waiting for the bus and standing there in identical postures caught my attention. The whole folder was made on the same day in a small industrial town in northern France. I have many more shots from that day to work on but didn't have the time and won't until the end of August as I leave for a holiday tomorrow. Nice reading you.

Strange how one particular day can open up for you photographically. Suddenly the light is perfect and everything composes itself into a picture. Other days are such a struggle.

the ladies seems to take part of the urbanscape geometry so well...the light and colors makes it a wonderful view...their body position seem to express that they look intensely at something we cannot see and that also create tension and interest...
