Chad... I don't know about different since the focus is already on the eyes; perhaps some selective light adjustments to draw more attention in that direction, or perhaps a tighter crop? Regardless, a good image as is. Here's an example of my thoughts... Mike

Hi Chad - great looking pup. I would agree with Mike's treatment - the added contrast and crop of the out of focus nose improve the shot quite a bit IMO.

thanks for the suggestions. I do like the crop a little better now that I look at it a few times. I can see how the out of focus nose and background can distract from the eyes a little. I guess it never hurts to print both!

I think its a good example of how an image can produce a different final result the more you sit with it.
