mark_q 0 Posted July 12, 2009 Normally I prefer more distance, more depth to my subjects in order to play with the relationship between near and far details, to train my eye and composition skills. In the name of minimalistic geometric play I simply couldn't resist this scene. Feel free to comment. Thanks for your time. Link to comment

wieslawmamon 0 Posted July 14, 2009 it's difficult to believe how so little can evoke such intense emotions, placing the two main objects with such a great color and shape contrast in the corners keeps my eyes busy within the frame as they jump vigorously from left to right, the picture on the wall restricts these jumps from above. An example of a solid triangle composition and nice lesson how to create intriguing visual effects with the use of minimum means. Compliments and best regards. Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted July 14, 2009 So nice to have you here. Yuo have no idea how highly I regard your extensive detailed comment. It gives so much more than simple "Nice", and I believe it tells about dedication and enthusiasm you have as well. So, thank you for sharing your thoughts, Wieslaw! Link to comment
sakke 0 Posted July 16, 2009 Markku, you have a great series of photographs (also) this summer! I got exoted in this one already before opening it to a bigger one. And only then could I see the peacekeeper in between the two strong powers in the corners. Maybe even a trinity.. Link to comment

mark_q 0 Posted July 19, 2009 I'm glad you enjoyed this photo, so thanks for your visit and words. Risto, I'm glad you pointed out the effect of the vaguely visible painr on wall and appreciated it. Interesting that so far nobody has suggested me to clone away those two spots on the wall... hmmm... Link to comment
