yves_colombe 0 Posted January 1, 2003 Stereoscopic photographs taken from the south rim of the Canyon de Chelly, Arizona. This is a crossed view, you have to squint to see the third dimension. There is a parallel view in the same folder, if you have trouble with this version. Comments welcome! Link to comment
seven 0 Posted January 4, 2003 The presentation certainly lends the intended depth. Detail is superb, great cloud texture. I'm in the queue so can't see camera details ... but I'm guessing expensive! Link to comment
yves_colombe 0 Posted January 4, 2003 Hi Seven; these photographs were taken with a standard 24x36 camera (Nikon F100), carefully aligned and cropped afterwards. I moved about 10 meters laterally between the two shots (which is a big distance) because Spider Rock is quite distant from the rim - the aim was not "stereoscopic realism", which would have brought an almost flat view. Because the two shots are not simultaneous the clouds had time to move, disturbing the superposition in this area... Link to comment
tzalavras 0 Posted August 25, 2007 Very nice picture; both as a landscape and as a working stereo-graph. Your decision to space the two shots 10 whole meters worked out perfect. Well done. Regards. Link to comment
