Cheer up baby!

Very nice work. Most enjoyable composition and pose. My only complaint is a wish that the woman's right foot were in a slightly different place. It appears to disappear into the white of the wheel. All in all a wonderful image.

First I'd like to say that for once, I feel the color of the added frame actually adds something to the picture, and contributes to the old pin-up postcard look. I lika as well the fact that the picture has many tones very close to the frame color. And I like the overall "almost-duatone" choice of colors...

 

As for styling... not too sure about the glasses and luggage, which both look more modern than the rest... but maybé there's a reason for this, and if there is one, I'd like to know which one please...?

 

Composition is imo just fine, except for one little but annoying detail: The white shoe disappears on the white part of the car wheel... Therefore, model just a step more to the right would have been a little better, I think...

 

Finally, about pose and expression... This is ok as it is, but I feel a more playful "dumb-doll" pin-up look would perhaps be a little stronger...

 

Oh, and last but not least, some areas are just a bit too bright in the background. I'd suggest working on that... Cheers.
