elportebonheur 0 Posted June 26, 2009 Looks pretty dramatic,Jim. You caught the momentum. Compliments - El Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted June 27, 2009 Wow! Talk about being in the right place at the right time!!! But you've also captured this brilliantly. I forgot to look at the details.....I'm dying to know the exposure, etc. We got a picture of a double rainbow (not good enough to post though) while traveling through Montana, but this is truly a remarkable and quite serendipitous shot! Bravo! Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 27, 2009 Wow Jim....I can't get over how 'thick' if that is the word...that the 'lightening bolt' is on the left....never seen anything like it!!!! fantastic shot!!.....Do you get very bad storms (tornadoes and such) where you live??? Man the air must have been just 'crackling'....Once when my children were quite young...(first life), we did not have much 'moula' - yet I felt quite thankful to have a new home...it was a Semi...unfortunately we were very near Hydro Wires....I was making the bed one morning during a T-storm.....and just happened to look out the window..and a bolt hit one of the 'hydro wires' in the green space behind us....Man! that wire just 'snapped'! The sound it made was quite similar! I thought it would have broke but it just had one big enormous 'jump' and then 'reverbb'ed' for a bit. Another time one hit the road in front of our home.....sure is pretty wild when it's that close. But I sure would not have liked to have been that close to these ones!!!! Fantastic capture and of course, finely presented....sincerely, Gail. (PS....a few years back I went to a Chiropracter...(Activator Method)...I'd worked for our Health Care System (OHIP)...and met her through work. She was fantastic....sure fixed a lot that ailed me and without 'crunching anythng!! But during one visit......she was checking me out, and told me my "AURA" was upside down!!! She just said "Don't ask..I don't know how this works but it does.....turns out the Hydro Wires could have been the main reason for this UNATURAL PHENOMINA..........somedays I think it has 'tipped over again.... :-0!!
