michaellinder 16,611 Posted June 24, 2009 Outstanding work! I really love the your use of sepia. It helps to dramatize the horse's lines and expression. My compliments, michael Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 25, 2009 Many thanks for taking the time to jot a few lines of critique....most appreciated....This was actually a full size carving of a horse....fabulous work...behind it is an intricately carved wall unit...most are from Bali....& Michael, believe it or not.....didn't use Sepia on this at all.....that is the color of the horse...the mane is a bit darker...I think they use just enough stain to bring out the highlights etc...... I lightened it up in 'levels' a bit near top forehead where mane and ears meet. Thanks again, haven't been online for a few days.....had some 'family' business to take care of.....then we had thunderstorms this afternoon.....cheers, Gail Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted March 10, 2010 Your camera skills are very good. I wanted to go back through your portfolio and refresh my mind with the works that you did that did not involve design but camera skills and again have to note they are really fine skills that are needed as you have to create the iconic designs you present. Cheers MJ Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 11, 2010 Much appreciation for going through my Portfolio...and seeing that I can also do some decent shots. There are times when I mess up.............some photos look okay in the LCD viewer....and then I load them on the computerandfind that they were not as sharp as I had hoped....thanks for being interested enough explore.....hopefully I will have many more decent shots that are not just digital alterations.....most sincerely, Gail Link to comment
