hossein 0 Posted June 23, 2009 your viewing angle is perfect. I do not like to put the main subject in the center of picture, but i think this could work well here, if the man was in the exact centre of the picture Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 23, 2009 He is as much artifact as person. Another statue in a city of statues. The detail is superb. Link to comment

wieslawmamon 0 Posted June 24, 2009 What attracts my immediate attention is the juxtaposition of the man in the foreground and the obelisk in the background, the man indeed with the flag is like yet another statue in this place. As the title suggests he's a leader of a group which we can't see so it makes me think that either his group is scattered somewhere or he may be the leader of all the viewers looking at this work. The barrier between the square and the place our leader is standing may also have its meaning. The pov and the arrangement of all the components here makes an impression of a stage in an open air theater. Thank you Giuseppe, best regards -wm Link to comment

Saluti Link to comment
laurentbodard 0 Posted June 24, 2009 Very refined details and contrasts. I actually like that the subject is not exactly in the center. On thing: the sky shown is calling for more of it... Very good composition. Link to comment
kaushikphotography 0 Posted June 24, 2009 One of the best shot I have seen today. Outstanding effect and the composition. Rgds. Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted June 24, 2009 for your comments and rates. I would have liked to have a bit more time to shoot this one more "carefully", but I saw this man as I was entering in St. Peter's, I kneeled and had enough time to shoot only twice before he changed his position. I could have included more sky, but this is photography, a matter of moments. Thank you for your time my friends, Giuseppe.BTW this is one of my first shots with my brand new D300 and my first impression is that now I hold a true camera in my hands . Link to comment
Link to comment
jmarcraveau 0 Posted June 25, 2009 Nice composition. The subject looks really like a statue with the obelisk in the background. Interesting angle of view too. Beautiful image. Regards, Jean-Marc Link to comment
