paullink 1 Posted June 21, 2009 I gotta admit, i didn't read the whole story, just the first conversations, but it's quite amusing. It's a great composition, the two cranes are a natural part of the scene, while the third(a falcon ?) is lightened by a flashgun or another spotlight.A "synthesis" as we say in my country.Best regards. harlequin 0 Posted June 21, 2009 I have seen this shot on your site before and liked it but it doesn't feel as strong as many of your other shots. The Falcon bothers me and the pelicans fit the scene but don't feel right. The base picture is strong on its own. The story started me smiling and before I was done hed tears running down my cheeks. Been there, done that. Thanks for the laughs. Thank you for your many ratings of my shots. Charles Link to comment
gfkremer 0 Posted June 21, 2009 Lovely image, as always, it makes me miss the sea as I think I can just wade in. Well done, funny joke that gave me a smile, too. Thanks for it all. Link to comment
vicenteconcha 8 Posted June 21, 2009 As always an interesting composition, where birds, sea and light combine to create beauty. Congratulations. Best wishes. Vicente. Link to comment

soniam 6 Posted June 23, 2009 Nicely done Jeff. The scene and colours are great. And thanks for sharing that funny story too. It is monday and a laugh is always the best medicine. I think I would prefer a straight horizon. the pelicans fot perfect but the osprey has the wrong lighting. I supose he is close enough to have caught the flash? Very nice silhouette of the peir. robert becker 0 Posted September 4, 2009 This could've been a nice seascape shot, but it's ruined by snapshots of birds pasted in. Link to comment
