I had visited this page earlier and was totally flummoxed with the image. Coming back and reading your generous sharing of how this was done I find myself more able to comprehend the photograph. Thank you. It is a unique interpretation. But to be truly honest I am still not convinced of its aesthetic beauty. The huge inward compression of the building on the left of the frame is what I think mars this composition. It is easier, less controversial, to be silent; but in the spirit of your sharing I thought I would voice my admittedly ill-educated views. I admire your work, even as I feel you over-power with your captions (not referring to this photograph). Warm regards - rajat

P.S. The "100% crop is a marvelous 'conventional' photograph in itself...

If it weren't for your account what job you'd done, I would suspect you've performed some magic tricks here:-}. The effect is really impressive, love the geometry and the sense of space, the clouds that looks as if they were radiating from the building add to the atmosphere of dignity. Thank you for quite a big lesson on creative photography, best regards -wm

well, it keeps you of the streets I guess ;-) I like the obvious and spelled out drama here of which the distortion is a major and important part.

Excellent captured man ! great shot or as u said shots, very beautifuly done, the harmony, composition, colors tonal and specially when I looked at the 100% croped zoom;really great ! I have also the Canon 350D but can't realise how you achived this focus and the sharpness in 100% crop zoom :D, great work anyway, congrats. Nima

I have stood there and looked at this building many times, and you have allowed me to see it in a completely new way. Well done!

I really admire your photographic technic, the knowledge and specially you imagination to get to this images. My only question is, if you used a special stitching software or other. Photoshop CS3 can handle this kinda stitching? You definitely learned your skill. Bravo Heider, bravo.

Well. I find the explanation in your reply, which program you used for stitching. I will try first with the PS CS3 stitching program and lets see. I doing some panos, 2-3 roves with success, but not that what you did here.

Cheers; Bela

An absolutely fantastic piece of work. thanks too for explaining your method. You could probably sell this to the Museum as a (very!) large format print ;-)
