The Southern Angle-headed Dragon lives in low elevation rainforest and wet sclerophyll forest along the coast of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales in Australia. Nikon D300, Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 @ 20mm f5.6 1/6sec, ISO 1600. 14bit NEF Active D-light High.

Yes 1/6sec and ISO 1600!

 

This and my other recent lizard photos were taken in the lizard house at the Featherdale wildlife park in Sydney, Australia. This little enclosure was very dark so I held the lens hood of the Sigma 10-20mm against the glass, braced myself and very gently squeezed the shutter button. I was very pleased that they worked out.
