Great dead on action shot. Nice DOF as well. The composition really works to make you feel you are there.

On the downside of shooting these races with the 600mm on the crop sensor is the amount of usable frames. Perhaps 5 shots out of the gates before they are too close, and not enough time to switch to the other camera body before they are gone.

Well framed and executed for the situation. The light conditions kind of rob this photo of color. If you like black and white photos, this might get a little more pop with a conversion.
