Afternoon Surprise

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at one of our Local Garden Centres yesterday

afternoon.....every so often I was surprised by the afternoon light softly

highlighting some of the most beautiful blossoms. This White Poppy...so

delicate......was one that caught my eye....comments welcome &

appreciated.

This is an amazing macro shot of this beautiful flower.. I like the crop and composition of this one and the colors are so beautiful... Great sharpness and details to... Great work once again my friend...

I haven't been online...so this was certainly a surprise to see.....one of those 'fortunate shots.....surprisingly enough, this is the 'original DOF'......don't remember exactly what was in the distance other than flowers...but I was very surprised to see that the centre of the Poppy lined up with it....thankyou all ...your commments truly do my 'heart' good...sincerely and with much thanks, Gail

Gail, I like the black line in the image, great idea. The colours here are so vivid and lively. I really like this one.

There is always surprises I suppose....but really, truly, this line is in the DOF naturally....I should post a couple where it is there but not centred...I did not take it purposely this way...but when I found this one centred like this - I just figured 'bonus'.....there was a 'sea of flowers' behind this poppy......I don't recall 'signs' or pink boards......this may have been part of a post or something????? no idea....but somehow it 'worked'. thankyou so much for your kind words....sincerely, Gail
