margalin 0 Posted June 2, 2009 Prague, 14 august 1892, Josefov district. At that time, Meyrink, young and hopeless, living in one small room, was standing alone at the table, being ready to shoot himself with a small gun. In that moment one providential stranger slipped under the door one strange book. This moment between life and death, between light and dark, angels and demons, changed his destiny. Because of that, we have the chance to read "Golem" today... This image is dedicated to Gustav Meyrink and to that anonymous who saved his life. The name of that book is "Afterlife"... kkkk 0 Posted June 3, 2009 eine neue Geschichte, ein neues Bild. Dunkel (trotz Sonne) und geheimnisvoll. Das blaue Licht passt perfekt. Wo stehen diese Grabfiguren? Wie immer eine sehr gute Arbeit und sofort als eine von Dir zu erkennen. 7/7 Alles Gute, viele Grüsse Jörgen Sorry, but my English is to bad... Link to comment
vidisorin 0 Posted June 3, 2009 Oh, the stories of Prague...the Gothic shadows....the jewish quarter...the saviour of them all ... Golem...the amulette seen on all streets and all "gift shops".. Getting back to your moment envisaged in such a symbolistic (I should check on those symbol dictionary to get a more exact glimpse of your image) and even surreal composition....the twist and uncertainty of the hero's mind...life, death, the other way.... they are all shouting inside his head claiming for their rights.... Laurentiu....it is always worth while to await your creations... Salutari Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 3, 2009 I`m nearly lost for words viewing your latest work. Absolutely amazing in drama, feelings, beauty together with a very special message. Your crativity to go from idea to completion is the proof that you are one of the best photographic artist I have ever seen. A wonderful backgroundstory also adds to the total impression. The system does not allow me 7/7 so I will be back. Take good care my friend and all the best from Jannica Link to comment

hansdans 0 Posted June 4, 2009 Nice photo collase, which completes the story. A pity that the photo is so small with lots of details. without the story I would have suggested some cropping. Still an interesting collection of postprocessing. BR Hannu Link to comment

BelaMolnar 2 Posted June 10, 2010 Angel from west, with a dark face and silhouette. Very meaningful image, with a story, we all know well. Cheers; Bela Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted August 18, 2010 Nice collection of items well placed in the composition. The image has many stories, and the west window and the dark angel ( or watcher) is very prophetic. The fire in the cast iron stove are symbolic for the whole story. I would eliminate the gas pipes, to get the effect of a natural fire. IMHO. Cheers; Bela Link to comment
plangereis 0 Posted December 8, 2011 Holy mackerel! No pun intended. This is amazing! I can only dream of producing images like this. This must have taken many hours to do! Very nice! A real 7/7. Link to comment
