awaraagard 0 Posted May 25, 2009 A young boy wearing artificial flowers' crown, sits contemplatively over a ridge overlooking the vast lower hilly valleys of North Pakistan, where world powers rage for personal motives and rich natural resources. Many thousands kids are currently among IDPs [internally displaced people] due to war and terror and condition in refugee camps is pathetic. Comments/ Critique/ ratings welcome! Link to comment
robwilson 0 Posted May 26, 2009 Hello Umair, This is a lovely yet sad shot. This young man looks deeply saddened. You have done an excellent job here.I had a short visit to Pakistan a few years ago, and I so hope that your beautiful, friendly and amazing country finds peace and safety from the appalling threats that it faces. All the best, Rob Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted June 2, 2009 Umair Bhai, this boy will never forgive his elders, for what we are doing to them. His eyes reminds me of the Afghan girl inside Pakistan refugee camp in Peshawar, shot by Steve Mc Curry. The glint of pathos in his eyes and scorn for humanity in his posture, will haunt me forever. I feel he is wearing a crown of thorns. Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted June 2, 2009 what these people and what's happening in their regions teach us is "to limit the use of power". but tragically, the entire world now has become a victim of multinationals/ multi national power groups.... and who cares???? regards! Link to comment
