jill_rocker 1 Posted May 25, 2009 This dog portrait is almost perfect in my ophion.... The black and white color tones and contrast are very beautiful and the light fits very well... The Dof is also great and the enviroment is simple, clen and stunning... The only thing that I would have liked better in this shot was if the horizon line was above the head instead but otherwise I think is perfect... All my best, Jill Link to comment

human images 4 Posted November 2, 2014 Rain' so pretty, and i mean feminine, if you can so extrapolate about dogs. Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted November 3, 2014 Thanks Carlos. Ya - Rain's a girl all right - she sits pretty doesn't she? Link to comment
human images 4 Posted November 4, 2014 she really really does, check it out as if studied and considered how she tucks in her hind leg just right, while the other paws maintain perfect equilibrium, she totally owns the spot. Also you'd think eccentricity is at work. I sense a quirkiness of character in this elegant class act of a dog. She so reminds me of my Alfie, a gorgeous weimaraner, and a marvelous friend from decades back. He too owned the space somewhat like Rain. Weird thing how the heart aches as i think of him after all this time. and kudos go out to the photographer, a real fine job you do David --- here, and throughout your gallery, your dog pictures are among the finest. David-Wisse 5 Posted November 5, 2014 Hey Carlos - thanks for writing - I really enjoy hearing from you. It's Rain's 13th birthday tomorrow - and talk about quirky, I always make her a big salad on her day. I swear she likes salad better then meat, (wants to watch her figure I guess). Thanks for sharing the photo of you and your Alfie - she's a beauty all right! I am sure she had a wonderful life - and gave as much as she got. Keep on loving your dogs - and keep on making fine pictures, (I've admired your work for some time now!). Best, David Link to comment
