Using a wide angle filter on my 18-55mm kit lens to take in as much of

the scene as poosible. Alterations were done in CS3 to increase

saturation by 5 and levels to give depth to the sky. Any advice or

comments very welcome

A nice piece of Shropshire.

Saturation may have been greater if you had underexposed by ~1/3-2/3 stop.

Composition could be better IMHO. The buildings are too much hidden behind walls/hedges/trees, and the foreground is too chaotic.

A gravestone up close, for instance, might have given a nice foreground element.

thank you gents. Because of the walls and hedges encircling the buildings all of the shots would have had to have been close ups. This was the only way to take a wide angle, I thought the gravestones and grassy area leading to the buildings gave some interest, oh well back to the drawing board.

Thanks again guys

Bill
