A classical portrait

I wonder if the evaluation of the portraiture photographs depends on how famous is the person depicted. I think I've seen some portraits of famous people, not a bit better than this one, and they are in the anthology now. Please, comment and rate this picture. Much obliged.

Maybe the frame is too large but the portrait itsself I like very much. Very good soft light and composition

I agree, this portrait could go to the history books if you were a famous person. It has lots of qualities. I would personally crop a bit less, to leave a bit of air beyond your head.

By the way, smoking is unhealthy :-)

E pa Pierre - alal vera!! Evo zagledam portret sa svih strana. Odlicno si uhvatio raspolozenje - lijepo mi dodje da namignem covjeku :) Ono sto mi je posebno zapalo za oko je nacin na koji se ostrina ruke polako gubi od sake pa dalje..detalj koji je sigurno imao uticaja na krajnji rezultat! :)

If I should ever get so good at capturing expressions, I'll be a happy photographer. This is definitely one for the wall. Thanks for your ctirique, Pierre.
