I am not sure I would consider this a typical portrait. It is more of an photo illustration or even could work as a fashion shot (the contrast of her outfit with the location makes some kind of statement).

Even though you have lost detail in your blacks I love the balance of the lights and the dark areas. Her expression works very well in this photograph. You have great skin tones and contrast (except for the extreme blacks). You have a very well balanced composition. Very nice light in her eyes.

This is the kind of picture I would hang on my wall, even though I do not know this girl. To me, this goes beyond a portrait - it is not just a picture of a girl.

I see sadness behind those eyes. It makes me want to comfort her.

I think that this is an fantastic "fashion" shot... The black and white color tones and contrast is perfect for the shot... Great mood in the shot to... The composition of this shot is wonderful and the location is amazing.. 7/7 and one of my nwe favorite images...
