Elgol Crimson
I was assisting a group of Russian photographers at Glencoe and Skye and this was our second visit the first night was gorgeous but on this occasion the notorious Skye weather surpassed itself with a fiery crimson glow as though the Cuillin themselves were cut and bleeding. I haven't burned film like that for ages and on this occasion I had scouted out and found the most glorious little foreground feature to point the way toward the best mountain backdrop in Scotland. TRANSIENT LIGHT. Pentax 67II, 45mm lens, 0.6ND hard edge grad, f/22 at 20 seconds.
