My favorite bird of all time, I love listening to these guys sing. When I was little and in Vietnam people kept these in cages, the best one could cost over $200, and that is a lot of money in VN in the early 90. I see you put Hawaii as the location are they indeginous there? BTW Nice composition and background, I would try to clone out the branch in front of the bird.

These birds are an alien species in Hawaii and are found only on Oahu and Kauai. They were introduced to Kauai in 1931 and Oahu in 1940. Their song is amazing and I am very glad that this one seems to be hanging out near my condo for the past three days. I hope it becomes a permanent resident.

As far as cloning out the branch in the foreground, since it cuts straight across the body of the bird I would have to create some sort of ending for the branch and that is beyond my photoshop skills.
